From my Friday night shift, I logged out 7AM on the dot (well, maybe about 2 or 3 minutes later) and went straight to Makati to meet up with one of my dearest, truly dependable chums Mia. We downed beer after beer and ate chicken wings nonstop, until we realized that it was about 2PM.
From Makati, I went to Mia’s apartment in Antipolo, where I was able to nap for an hour at most, played with her smart son Basti a little, took a bath to wash off the grime from the night before.
From Antipolo, I went to Robinson’s Cainta to buy a really cool but wickedly cheap pair of jeans for someone special (man, this sounds so cliche that it actually made me puke).
From Robinson’s Cainta, I went to Green Park Subdivision in Santolan, Pasig for our weekly CLP (Christian Life Program) session. I listened to a 2-hour talk on God’s Love (long, yeah, but definitely not boring). Afterwards I had my first stint as a group facilitator. Of course I was tired, so I wasn’t my usual jolly self.
From Pasig, Janssen and Tintin dropped me off at Brook Park (beats me where that is) to hail an Ayala-bound FX.
Now, I’m home. Too tired to think of anything else but sleep. Too exhausted to try analyzing the message that I received on my Smart SIM — should I be happy that someone seems to be “keeping” his promise to be in touch everyday despite and in spite of?
Funny thing though… not too pooped to consider starting to watch the Kdrama “Mixed-Up Investigative Agency”.
Morning/night, y’all!
