Sometime this week, I went on a yosi break with Dani, Dan, and Hans as I always do. Upon entering the smoking area of Dell’s Food Hall on the 10th floor of Unionbank Plaza, I heard the chorus of “Nobody” by the Wonder Girls playing. I wondered if I had my phone and bluetooth headset with me but just as I was about to touch my ears, I realized I was listening to my PC playlist. That was when I saw some random ICT agent holding his phone, which was playing the song. So that explains it.

And then there’s this old video of the Wonder Boys* doing a live parody of “Nobody” which has been spreading all over the sales floor (courtesy of Ninang Kel), as reported by Hans. Pretty much everybody from the sales force knows the dance moves.

Not so long ago, Dani has been downloading songs from the Boys Over Flowers soundtrack for her daughter Meg, and when I mentioned to her that what she had on her iPod was from the first OST, she borrowed my USB flash drive to copy the other BOF songs that she didn’t have. Going back to “Nobody”, she has both versions and likes the Korean more than the English one.
