Our boss Claire came to visit the Manila office after Ondoy. During her first day…

Claire: Oh my God, you’re looking great. Did you change your hair?
Me: No, the curls are just wearing off, I guess.
Claire: Did you lose weight?
Me: Um, no, I actually gained weight.
Claire: Whatever it is, it works for you… keep it up. You look better. You look great.

I don’t really know what made that “change” in me… Aside from the fact that I’ve been following a strict beauty regimen that involves applying something religiously 2x a day, everyday, I can’t think of anything else. The morning before she flew back to San Mateo, she raves again on how great I look and asks if it was because of a guy, if there was a guy behind it all.

I wanted to tell her, “Yeah. As a matter of fact, there is. His name is Lee Seung-ki, and he’s in the Korean show business.” Ahahahahahaha.
