I just got back from a joint barbecue party at Angel’s in Marikina. Ciggie’d lots, but wasn’t able to finish one bottle of beer (again, I suck at beers ^^)

I got pretty sentimental on my bus ride home with all the happy and not-so-happy memories that all came back to me that moment.

Surprisingly, I got more in touch with my fangirly self, and ended up with more savings that I’ve ever gathered in all of my accumulated 5++ years of work experience. I guess it worked better for me spending moolah over collectibles rather than trendy clothes that I wouldn’t be able to wear in a month or so, no thanks to my ever-increasing body fat index. But then again, I think I have to be thankful for my weight gain, because it only goes to show how fortunate I am to be able to eat whenever necessary.

I’ve exchanged hello’s with 4Minute, watched a live FT Island showcase, shook hands with UKISS, professed my undying affection for Eli Kim and pitched in for a pair of SkullCandy headphones for leader Soohyun, and will be watching Super Junior perform live in Araneta Coliseum on Saturday.

My mother has successfully battled breast cancer. My father has started being responsible and affectionate towards us once again. My sister has become somewhat successful in her current line of work and her lovelife has become a bit more stable compared to the past.

Miraculously, I’m still a market specialist, in spite of numerous past issues that almost cost me my employment.

What more can I ask for?

Well, just a few more birthday wishes.

1. I wish that for every year that will be added to my life, 2 or more will be added to my family’s. Furthermore, I wish that my mother would always stay healthy, that every checkup, every diagnostic test administered to her will always give a clean bill of health.
2. I wish that I will always have a stable career in order to be able to financially provide for my family.
3. I wish that my little angel Beatrice will keep watching over us.
4. I wish that I could bring back the fire in my spiritual life.
5. I wish that C.N. Blue’s career will thrive more, and that they will stay grounded no matter how much success comes their way. Oh, and that I will be able to watch them perform live someday, and share a bonding moment or two with them. ^^

Random rave: I’ll be getting a pair of SkullCandy headphones from my sister and her partner as their conjugal gift (I hope the design we got for Soohyun is still available — hahaha, couple headphones?). And my mom agreed to pitch in half for a pair of Chucks that I’ve been eyeing.

Oh yeah, what a happy birthday this is.
