I had been closely following the development of this BB-app-in-the-making for quite sometime, but failed to ask the most important question during the onset of my stalking: Will this work with BB OS4.6? It wasn’t until a few days ago that I thought of checking, and I got the answer I dreaded: most likely not. Which isn’t really a problem, since you can always upgrade pretty much everything, so that should include my Berry, right?

Wrong.

I’ve been googling stuff to help me ease my extreme paranoia. Aside from being completely “mono” when it comes to technical stuff, I always get this uneasy feeling that if I do things wrongly, everything’s irreversible and my Berry will fall apart. That’s the scariest part — this phone was a gift from my Dad, which makes it very precious to me despite it being an old school unit and all.

So anyways, I found out with my little “feeling-researcher” act today that upgrading OS5 the “legal” way isn’t really a good idea for my Bold 9000, with its measly application memory allocation of 120+ MB. There are a few cracks and leaks here and there, but I feel they’re too risky to perform on my own.

I was enjoying my Berry immensely (Oh yeah, trackball included, no kidding there). Everything was perfectly fine before I found out that something like this was being developed. So yes, I’m not denying it. I. Am. Heartbroken. All because of a Blackberry application.

But it’s not just any application… it’s lomoberry!

And yes, when I see that my friends have installed this application on their Berries, I think I’m really going to cry.

i’ve reverted back to this old skin after having discovered something ingenius… jejeje… i was able to add a link for “previous” and “next” pages. however, i can only do so much: you have to scroll down to the bottom of the page until you see a thin black line segment… and then run your mouse to toggle the visibility of the links.

yesterday i had our junior IT consultant guy alfred install netsupport for my PC. it’s a program used by supervisors (and in this case, QA analysts too!) to monitor the agents’ screens, if they’re surfing non-work related websites during their shift.

it doubles the fun in snooping around, basically.
