berry fattening
August 7th, 2011 · No Comments
Funny how owning a Berry has made my life even more sedentary. The only exercise I have at home is to get up from bed in order to use the computer for social networking and blogging. Now I barely get off my ass — I merely need to reach for my phone in order to do get lost in cyberspace. Mmmkay.

why i love this boy :)

My officemate Daniel and I went out a little after 6PM today to buy dinner. I only needed rice since I had leftover chicken from lunch, and Lasapin Foodcourt seemed a long walk from the office just for one cup of rice, I was trying to get him to buy food (and my rice) without me. As quickly as I had uttered it, I took it back, so I ended up going with him.
We were mildly debating whether to smoke before or after buying food.
Me: Ngayon na ba?
Daniel: Pwede din. O gusto mo, magyosi ka muna habang binibili ko yung pagkain.
Me: Ayoko, boring magyosi mag-isa.
Daniel: Mas boring kaya bumili ng pagkain mag-isa.
Awww. <3
Love you, Danny Boy!

How did things get this convoluted?
Should I just go back to my old, simple life?

start the day right
July 20th, 2011 · No Comments
Usually, they say “last call for alcohol”, but yesterday was different. I didn’t expect to get a last call for alcohol at 6:30AM, because, dude, I had work at 9, but since Shari and Dee were game, I thought I’d unwind before my shift officially started.
I had a lot on my mind these days, and as much as I would’ve loved to bring them up with my drinking buddies (which I usually do, even with the most trivial stuff you can think of), I didn’t know where to start. And besides, since the bulk of it was top-secret — oh yeah, gumaganon talaga
— I would just end up omitting a lot of details, which would defeat my purpose of unloading. Nevertheless, I was touched at the way they trusted my judgment on certain viewpoints they had, so never mind if I wasn’t able to get things off my chest for now.
And besides, I had this to keep me company when everyone else was on bathroom break:
Screw the many things that are torturing me at present.

green umbrella
July 17th, 2011 · No Comments
I want to be your green fiberglass golf umbrella — lightweight, so that carrying me around wouldn’t be a hassle for you; flexible ribs, so that I can withstand not just the rain, but also the rough winds that keep attacking you from time to time; green, because it’s the color of balance, self-respect, and well-being.
Out of all the inanimate objects, I chose to be an umbrella because I want to protect you.
